ARTIST'S NOTE:
A tribute to one of Charleston's greatest spots for live music and a crazy night: The Royal American. When trying to decide which angle or reference photo to choose for this portrait, I was looking for something that stood out and was part of the identity of the bar. For me, it was the corner with the jukebox. A nod to older eras, the emphasis on music, and an eclectic collection of art, lights, and shiny things. Plate number 9 (maybe 10?) Complete!
